Telecommunications and Wireless Communication Markets are Projected to Grow

According to a research by Markets and Markets the telecom managed services market is expected to grow from USD 11.90 Billion in 2017 to USD 22.58 Billion by 2022, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 13.7%. While North America is the largest market share, the Asia Pacific (APAC) region is expected to grow at the highest CAGR from 2017 to 2022, in large thanks to increasing internet and mobile services and establishments of new data centers in China, India, Singapore, and Australia. This compares with adjusted EPS of $1.01 in third-quarter 2016. Verizon reported a net increase of 603,000 retail postpaid connections in third-quarter 2017. Net phone additions of 274,000 included 486,000 smartphones in the quarter, compared with 242,000 smartphone additions in third-quarter 2016.
