Combining the experience, strength and technologies of both companies propels Telestream to the dominant position in the video transcoding market and significantly enhances Telestream's ability to provide a greater range of enterprise-class live and on-demand workflow applications. Together, Telestream, with its deep video transcoding, workflow design and automation expertise and Anystream, with its large-scale media production management capabilities, are able to address broader and deeper IT-based production workflows.

Anystream's products, services, and customer base will be incorporated into Telestream to provide media and entertainment organizations with a significant wealth of complementary and synergistic capabilities, increased market presence, and expanded customer services. The acquisition adds a world-class engineering and support team, an East Coast office and a global key account sales team to Telestream's already profitable and financially stable worldwide business.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, as both companies are closely held private companies.
