Telgian Corporation Appoints New Division President, EVP Sales & Marketing and EVP Compliance Solutions

PHOENIX, March 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Fire, security, and life safety services provider Telgian Corporation announced today the appointment of Alan Gargano as division president for compliance solutions, Bob Caputo as executive vice president of sales and marketing, and Jason Hand as executive vice president of compliance solutions.

Alan Gargano began his career working as an operations leader within organizations such as Quaker Oats, Owens-Corning and Firestone, where he achieved success in strategic planning, profit and loss management, business growth and cultural change. In his more than 25 years of business experience, Gargano has developed, planned and led business improvement initiatives that have reduced costs, increased profitability, enhanced customer service and created high-performing teams. As division president, Gargano will have strategic and operational responsibility for all compliance solutions business operations and will provide leadership and guidance for the entire division.

Bob Caputo, who served formerly as executive vice president of compliance solutions for Telgian Corporation, has transitioned to the position of executive vice president of sales and marketing with the appointment of Gargano. Caputo rejoined Telgian in 2014 after previously serving as a partner for the company—then known as TVA Fire and Life Safety— in the mid-1990s. Caputo has more than 35 years of experience in the fire protection and life safety industry.

Jason Hand will transition from executive vice president of sales and marketing to executive vice president of compliance solutions to work more closely with Gargano in his new role. Hand has been with Telgian Corporation since 2006 and has almost 20 years of experience within the fire protection and life safety industry.
