Telling(TM) Industries Announces the Launch of the Only TRUE-STUD(TM) Drywall Framing System

MENTOR, Ohio, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Shortly after Telling™ Industries announced the launch of their new website, BUILDSTRONG.com. The company released today that they have begun a full conversion to the TRUE-STUD™ product line. TRUE-STUD is a patent pending drywall framing system that utilizes improved design elements and stronger raw materials. Telling intends on completing a full conversion to the TRUE-STUD™ product line at two of their three facilities by March 29, 2010.

The company has invested over a year of research and development in bringing TRUE-STUD™ product to life.  The Telling True™ line is replacing the older traditional drywall framing products previously offered by the company. The new Telling™ Industries TRUE-STUD™ and TRUE-TRACK™ products are a re-engineered, completely redesigned drywall framing system. "The TRUE™ product design has reshaped how a drywall framing system should look and perform", says the company's Executive Vice President, Troy Frank.

The company has begun the conversion process at their flagship, Cambridge, Ohio facility and their Osceola Arkansas location for a brief 30-day period. During the conversions, they will be shipping various combinations of the TRUE™ products, alongside their traditional offerings. This transition will involve converting manufacturing equipment, redesigning packaging and internal system updates. Telling assures the public that that their service will not suffer during this process.

The TRUE-STUD product is manufactured from much higher KSI yield strength steel. The ASTM minimum strength for a drywall stud is 33-KSI, while the TRUE-STUD™ boast up to 70-KSI. The company believes that the TRUE-STUD is a big upgrade from the older stud technology. When asked about the product's differences and why the TRUE-STUD is a better product? Mr. Frank responded, "It is not a bumpy or a mere cosmetic enhancement. It is simple however; the drywall stud has not changed much until recently. Everyone in our industry used to make the same type of framing, manufactured to the same bare minimums of ASTM. Today, there is much better design technology available and the accessibility of high-performance steel from the mills, have made it possible for Telling to offer the TRUE-STUD™.
