NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Telx®, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, cloud enablement services, and datacenter solutions, today announced that ZenoRadio is leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) Direct Connect in its NJR2 data center facility.

ZenoRadio enables radio and other audio content from around the world to play via phone, mobile app or widget. With over 3,000 international radio stations available to customers, ZenoRadio offers listeners a unique service and offers broadcasters and advertisers interactivity and user information not possible with conventional or satellite radio.

With an increasing user base, ZenoRadio was faced with the challenge of minimizing downtime while maintaining customer satisfaction and growing its business. The company struggled to find a data center provider that was fast, reliable, and scalable enough to analyze the massive amount of customer data used for personalized customer experiences as well as meet their 100 percent uptime service-level agreement (SLA).

ZenoRadio chose Telx's data center solutions and global interconnectivity services, including AWS Direct Connect, to analyze big data and provide actionable insights tailored to each customer, such as targeted advertising and promotions. The scalability that the AWS Direct Connect provided along with the 100 percent uptime SLA provided by Telx was the ideal combination for ZenoRadio. Since working with Telx, ZenoRadio has increased its user base by roughly five times and is projecting to further increase it by 100 fold within the next year.
