Templeton World Charity Foundation President Andrew Serazin Named Young Global Leader By World Economic Forum
NASSAU, Bahamas, March 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Templeton World Charity Foundation is pleased to announce that its President, Dr. Andrew Serazin, has been selected as a 2019 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. The Forum of Young Global Leaders is a five-year leadership program, bringing together diverse, dynamic and globally representative leaders with the mission to create a community with the vision, courage and influence to drive positive change in the world.

Under Serazin's leadership, the Templeton World Charity Foundation has continued to honor Sir John Templeton's legacy by funding scientific breakthroughs and the development of practical tools relating to the search for meaning, purpose and truth. Since assuming the role of President in 2016, Serazin has led a global expansion of its portfolio to include over 200 projects in 45 countries. The foundation has been recognized for its innovative approaches to philanthropy - building unlikely collaborations, reducing barriers to access funds, working with mission-aligned companies and empowering individual researchers across the world.
