Tennenbaum Capital Partners Appoints Steve Hadden to Advisory Board
SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC ("TCP") today announced that Steve Hadden, the former Executive Vice President of Worldwide Exploration and Production of Devon Energy, Inc., has joined the firm's Advisory Board as a Senior Executive Advisor. In this role, Mr. Hadden will work with the TCP investment team to evaluate investment opportunities in the energy sector, and serve as a valuable resource to the management teams of its portfolio companies. Mr. Hadden joins David Kilpatrick, the former President and COO of Monterey Resources, who has acted as a Senior Executive Advisor to TCP since 2010.

Mr. Hadden has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having served in various management roles for Texaco Inc., now Chevron Corporation, and more recently as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Exploration and Production for Devon Energy Corporation from July 2004 until March 2009. Mr. Hadden is currently a director of LINN Energy, and serves on its nominating, compensation, and audit committees. Mr. Hadden also serves on the board of directors and the compensation committee of FMSA Holdings Inc. Previously, Mr. Hadden was a director with Berry Petroleum Company from February 2011 until its merger with LINN Energy. Mr. Hadden also served with the following entities: The Advisory Board of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Upstream Committee of the American Petroleum Institute, the Allied Arts Board and the Western States Petroleum Association.
