Teradata Executive Stephen Brobst Named by ExecRank as a Leading Chief Technology Officer

Brobst joined the Teradata team in October of 1999. Previously, he successfully launched three start-up companies related to high-end database products and services in the data warehousing and e-business marketplaces: Tanning Technology Corporation (IPO on NASDAQ), NexTek Solutions (acquired by IBM) and Strategic Technologies & Systems (acquired by NCR).

He performed his graduate work in computer science at MIT, where his master's and Ph.D. research focused on high-performance parallel processing. He also completed an MBA with joint course and thesis work at the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Stephen has been on the The Data Warehousing Institute faculty since 1996.
