Terramar Unveils Premier Tenant Collection At The Headquarters at Seaport District

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Terramar Retail Centers announced today its highly anticipated collection of world-class restaurants and specialty shops for The Headquarters at Seaport District as it counts down to opening in November.  This artfully designed open-air lifestyle center will feature an eclectic mix of art and artisans, boutiques and specialty shops, and is anchored by exceptional restaurants creating a dynamic shopping and dining experience catering to San Diego's most discerning residents and visitors.

Joining the previously announced collection of highly acclaimed restaurants  (Eddie V's, Pizzeria Mozza, Puesto, Seasons 52, and The Cheesecake Factory) is an array of boutiques and specialty shops, including: Aaron Chang Ocean Art, the first ocean-themed, artist-owned gallery on the West Coast; Kitson, the trend-setting boutique; Madison, unparalleled fine leather and luggage; Urban Beach House, seaside inspired fashion, accessories and gifts for men, women and children; and San Diego favorite, Geppetto's Toys.

The Headquarters offers 25 shops and restaurants in 100,000 square feet and serves as the gateway to a 20-acre waterfront development incorporating Seaport Village. An invitation-only grand-opening celebration is planned for Sunday, November 17, and a public grand opening on Monday, November 18, 2013.

Built in 1939, this property was the San Diego Police Headquarters until 1987. The overall design concept for The Headquarters is a downtown street with visually rich authenticity, echoing the great San Diego boulevards of the 30's and 40's. The Headquarters' main courtyard includes fountains, trees, and outdoor cafes.
