Gartner adds only TestPlant in 2014 MQ, straight into the ratings as a Visionary
TestPlant, the maker of the eggPlant range of software quality tools, today announced that Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, has recognized TestPlant as a Visionary in its Magic Quadrant (MQ) for Integrated Software Quality Suites. TestPlant is the only company to have been added to this year's MQ which is widely recognized as the industry's authoritative source for assessing vendor competitiveness based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.
Gartner has rated TestPlant as a Visionary for integrated software quality based on the completeness of the company's eggPlant product offering, which includes both functional and performance testing, as well as test management capabilities. The company's focus on developing products that are easy to use was also recognized as a key strength, along with its ability to deliver a constant stream of innovation.
