TestPlant Partners With Sogeti; eggPlant Enhances Sogeti Studio

Software quality partnership brings eggPlant products to Sogeti Studio, Sogeti UK's mobile and web testing lab 

TestPlant, the maker of the eggPlant range of software quality tools, today announced a strategic partnership with software testing services firm Sogeti UK (Sogeti) to deliver software quality solutions for digital enterprises. The partnership allows Sogeti customers to benefit from the eggPlant range of test automation tools which work on mobile, desktop and Internet of Things devices and in agile, DevOps and traditional development environments.

The partnership also means that eggPlant products are now included in Sogeti UK's comprehensive web and mobile testing lab, Sogeti Studio, allowing customers to experience full end-to-end automation of mobile and web applications using eggPlant. Sogeti Studio offers businesses around the UK the ability to test across a wide range of regularly refreshed devices, browsers and application configurations, giving on-demand access to leading tools.

The TestPlant tools to be offered in Sogeti Studio include eggPlant Functional, eggPlant Manager, eggBox and eggCloud. The partnership aims to streamline digital testing offerings for enterprises by deploying easy-to-use tools from TestPlant alongside Sogeti's digital testing consultancy capabilities.

Addressing European digital testing challenges 

The partnership helps address the concerns highlighted by the recently released Digital Testing in Europe report by Pierre Audoin Consultants, which reported that 75% of European businesses agree that the expansion of their digital presence will be their number one IT priority over the next two years. However only 18% have implemented a digital testing strategy in 2015 and 35% of businesses in Europe are looking to implement a digital testing programme in the next 12 months.

TestPlant has been a working with Sogeti for several years, mainly focusing on digital transformation programs and helping support major European accounts like Banco Sabadell.
