THE WOODLANDS, Texas, May 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- TETRA Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:TTI) (the "Company" or "TETRA") today announced an extension of its previously announced tender offer to purchase any and all of its outstanding 5.09% Senior Notes, Series 2010-A, due December 15, 2017 (PPN 88162F B#1) and its 5.67% Senior Notes, Series 2010-B, due December 15, 2020 (PPN 88162F C*4) (collectively, the "Notes"). The tender offer, as so extended, will now expire immediately after 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time, on Thursday, June 2, 2016, unless the Company terminates the tender offer earlier or extends the tender offer further.

As of 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time today, the Company had received valid tenders of $46,944,444 aggregate principal amount of the Notes. This represents approximately 72.2% of the outstanding principal amount of the Notes.

Subject to applicable law, the Company may terminate the tender offer at any time prior to its expiration in the Company's sole discretion.
