HOUSTON, Dec. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital hosted Texas Master Chorale in partnership with the Center for Performing Arts Medicine (CPAM), for a holiday concert which was broadcast live on an in-hospital television station into the rooms of 274 patients on December 3.

The Tomball based Texas Master Chorale, was founded in 1986 and is a mixed choral ensemble of 100 auditioned singers. According to the chorale website, the group performs a variety of chorale masterworks from classical to contemporary and sacred to secular music. Brad Bouley is the artistic director and founder of Texas Master Chorale and the retired director of fine arts of Tomball Independent School District. His expansive career in Texas includes professional experience as a chorale adjudicator and clinician. Bouley is also the recipient of numerous awards for his leadership and teaching of music.
Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital along with CPAM, partnered with the Texas Master Chorale to present the holiday concert in support of the hospital's holiday music ministry. Houston Methodist Willowbrook partners with several community organizations, churches and schools to advance the hospital's music ministry through caroling. Partners include Cy-Fair ISD, Tomball ISD, Northland Christian School, the Cy-Creek Chamber and Champions Community Church.
The Texas Master Chorale is performing a concert, Holiday Hymns and Carols, featuring Magnificat by Bach on Saturday, December 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Cypress Creek Christian Community Center.
