Texas Regional Bank Appoints Trey Willerson President of TRB Trust & Wealth Management

HOUSTON, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Regional Bank (TRB) has appointed Trey Willerson, CFA®, President of TRB Trust & Wealth Management. Willerson will continue to serve as Chief Investment Officer, leading TRB's Houston-headquartered Trust & Wealth division, which manages more than $4 billion in assets and serves clients throughout Texas.

Willerson holds undergraduate degrees from Southern Methodist University, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a CFA® charterholder. He joined TRB in 2024 as Chief Investment Officer and has helped shape the investment philosophy and portfolio discipline that guide the division today. His expanded role preserves continuity in investment leadership while extending his responsibility across the division.
