The 113th Canton Fair "China's largest foreign trade event ready to welcome participants"
GUANGZHOU, China, April 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Attendees are counting down the hours to the start of the 113th Canton Fair, China's most prestigious trade show. The spring installment is kicking off in Guangzhou on April 15, when organizers will welcome participants to the most professional and well-serviced event to date.
The 113th Canton Fair will host nearly 60,000 show stands, with organizers working hard to further refine the caliber of exhibitors. More Chinese buyers will be invited to the International Pavilion, where foreign enterprises can market their cutting edge products. There will be wide range of workshops, forums and networking events, with a special focus on the Russian market in this session. The Fair's Product Design and Trade Promotion Center has also been expanded, with 45 design institutions from 10 countries taking part in exhibition.
This session the fair will also launch its official electronic commerce platform E-CantonFair.com, with a more complete and dimensional trade show service to its members. For example brand new services like "Easy Financing on Canton Fair", offering backup engine for Chinese exporters & SMEs, and "Canton Fair Assistant", enabling trade show visitors with online & offline trade matching and interaction between suppliers and associations.
The Canton Fair continues to be skillfully promoted overseas, with a focus on 38 premium markets. Eight road show teams have been dispatched, and event promotions have successfully been conducted with overseas partners in a wide range of 21 selected destinations globally.
Despite the financial crisis of 2008 and ensuing economic conditions, foreign buyers from a diverse range of geographic and commercial backgrounds have continued to patronize the Canton Fair in recent years. Many are drawn to the increasingly competitive nature of Chinese products available.
