The 22nd China (Shanghai) International Boat Show Opens with 500 Exhibitors from 20 Countries
SHANGHAI, April 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- From April 26-29, the 22nd China (Shanghai) International Boat Show will exhibit at its new venue, Shanghai New International Expo Centre. With 55,000 square meters, encompassing over 500 exhibitors from 20 countries and 6 national and regional pavilions from Italy, New Zealand, Korea, Taiwan, Australia and Japan, CIBS2017 promises to be a truly international event.
The theme for this year's iconic show is "New life, New wave" celebrating the show's extensive new product launches that will take place. The exhibition will feature more than 200 real boats and yachts, 38 new model launches and more than 30 live events.

What's new at CIBS 2017
For the first time in CIBS's 22-year history the public will have the chance to speak with boating celebrities. Stars include members of the Dongfeng Race Team, Jiru Yang (aka Black) and Xue Liu (aka Wolf) who became the first Chinese team to win the brutal leg of the Volvo Ocean Race.
Also new this year is the opportunity to get up close and personal with some high energy, water sports. Thrill seekers can experience kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, water skiing, diving, underwater photography and many more water sports as part of our hugely anticipated Leisure Carnival in the onsite 300 square meter pool.
Another highlight is the launch of our pioneering professional business match-making service, giving buyers and suppliers the chance to collaborate and explore new business opportunities together. We will also be launching our Exhibitor Search Tool, an innovative online resource to help visitors find what they are looking for at the event.
In addition, the elite Asian Marine & Boating Awards (AMBA) will take place at the show. Over 500 marine brands from 20 countries will be participating. The awards will be judged by an expert panel of professionals and celebrate the best of Asian marine design and innovation.
