The American Legion Department of Colorado Awards Summit Technical Solutions the Employer of Veterans Award
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Legion Department of Colorado has awarded Summit Technical Solutions, LLC (STS) an Employer of Veterans Award, recognizing STS for their dedication in hiring veterans. Each year the American Legion Departments select one nomination per employer size category. STS was awarded in the medium size category. To qualify for the award, 10% of the employer's workforce must be a veteran. STS surpassed this requirement with a more than 65% veteran population for the Corporate Headquarters and Department of Defense (DOD) Business Area. Additionally, for the 35% non-Veteran workforce in their HQ and DOD Business Area, the overwhelming majority are immediate family members of Veterans.
