The Angiogenesis Foundation Again Wins Highest Charity Rating

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, the Angiogenesis Foundation (www.angio.org) has received the highest rating of four out of four possible stars from Charity Navigator, the prominent independent evaluator of charities. Thousands of organizations are assessed but less than a quarter achieve four stars.

The Angiogenesis Foundation is re-conceptualizing a global approach to health by helping the body maintain its normal balance of angiogenesis, the process used by the body to grow new blood vessels. By halting excessive blood vessels, it is possible to starve cancer by cutting off its blood supply, as well as prevent vision loss in diabetes and age-related macular degeneration.
