The Atlanta Chapter Of The American Marketing Association Announces 'Call For Entries' For The 2016 AMY Awards

ATLANTA, Dec. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) today announced a 'call for entries' for its 59th Annual 2016 AMY Awards.  On Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Fox Theatre, AMA Atlanta will recognize companies and individuals who have made their mark on the Atlanta marketing scene during the previous calendar year.  Entries will be accepted until January 22.

AMA Atlanta is looking for submissions of campaigns and concepts that transcend the ordinary, push boundaries and exemplify strategic and creative license.  Winners will be honored with an AMY Awards Red Pencil.  The Red Pencil is a symbol of the AMY Awards. It represents the spirit of excellence – the refinement, reduction and resolve – that informs the decisions marketing professionals make throughout the creative process. It is a constant reminder of the big ideas each company produces to achieve real results.

AMY Awards Red Pencils will be presented across 10 different marketing categories, representing 25 opportunities to win. Additionally, two "Marketing of the Year" Awards will be presented to recognize one agency and honor one corporate marketing individual for outstanding marketing achievements during the previous year.
