The best HR Management Suites, based on reviews from HR professionals

CHICAGO, July 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on more than 325 reviews from HR professionals, the inaugural Grid^SM for HR Management Suite software, announced today by business software review site G2 Crowd, ranks 11 products to help HR software buyers in their selections. HR Management Suites are software products with functionality in at least two of the main HR software categories: Recruiting, Performance Management, Core HR, and Training and eLearning. To meet their requirements, companies might elect to purchase an entire HR Management Suite to use for all of its functionality, or purchase only some of the suite modules.

The categories are:

• Recruiting software facilitates the sourcing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
• Performance management software aligns an organization's goals, sets company performance standards, and measures employee progress in pursuit of these goals.
• Core HR software allows the creation of a company organizational structure including details such as descriptions, requirements, and salaries for each position.

To qualify as a Leader, a product must receive a high customer satisfaction score and have substantial market presence. While Halogen TalentSpace and Ultipro earned the highest customer satisfaction scores, only Ultipro was named a Leader in the space, along with SuccessFactors, Workday and PeopleSoft. High Performers are SilkRoad, Cornerstone OnDemand and Halogen TalentSpace, which earned high customer satisfaction scores with a smaller market presence.

As part of the review process, HR professionals reported their satisfaction with the ease of use, quality of support, and other facets of the product they use, as well as HR-specific features. Overall, reviewers reported a 70% average rate of likelihood to recommend the product they use.
