The Briad Group® Names Robert Fix Vice President of Franchise Sales for CUPS Frozen Yogurt - That's Hot™

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Feb. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Restaurant and hospitality leader The Briad Group® announced today that it has named industry veteran Robert Fix as Vice President of Franchise Sales for CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That's Hot™.  Fix will be responsible for franchise sales, franchise relations and trade show management.

Fix has extensive experience in restaurant franchise sales including Red Robin, Shakey's USA, Boston Pizza International, Cosi Restaurants and T.G.I. Friday's.

Fix started his franchise sales career in 1996 with Boston Pizza International. As the first US employee for Boston Pizza, Fix introduced the Boston Pizza concept to the U.S. market where no restaurants previously operated.  He developed franchise sales and marketing programs that resulted in multiple area development agreements. 

As Vice President of Franchise Sales for Red Robin from 2001 to 2006, Fix was responsible for the re-launch of Red Robin's U.S. franchise sales program, which resulted in the sale of all available franchise territories in the U.S.

Fix served as Vice President of Franchise Sales for Cosi Restaurants from 2006 to 2008 and Shakey's USA from 2008 to 2011. Most recently, Fix was Senior Director of Franchise Sales for T.G.I. Friday's.

Since opening the first CUPS in Clifton, New Jersey in 2010, CUPS has taken the frozen yogurt industry by storm, becoming the local hot spot for teenagers and adults alike who make their own fro-yo concoctions choosing from 24 yogurt flavors and over 50 different toppings and three sauces.

According to Barbrick, CUPS is much more than great frozen yogurt; CUPS was designed around the experience.

CUPS opened its tenth company location last month in Carle Place, NY.  Since the beginning of 2012, CUPS has signed more than 10 new area development agreements representing 25 franchise units in New Jersey, New York and Florida.  The first CUPS franchise location will open next month in Rockaway, NJ.
