The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Launches Video in Support of the 2011 LinkPink Lance Armstrong Event

CALGARY, June 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) today launched the 2011 LinkPink video in support of the 2011 LinkPink: Lance Armstrong for Breast Cancer event to help raise funds and awareness for the breast cancer cause as the Foundation celebrates its 25th anniversary.
"It's an exciting year for the Foundation," said Trish Bronsch, CEO of the Prairies/NWT Region. "We are celebrating 25 years this year and what better way to celebrate then to have internationally recognized cancer advocate Lance Armstrong in Calgary for the 2011 LINKPINK Event to raise awareness and funds to support breast cancer research, education and awareness."
The Ride, taking place on September 8, 2011 in Calgary, is an exciting opportunity to ride with the seven-time Tour De France champion and cancer survivor as he takes to the road in a 60 kilometer route with a group of fundraising individuals and teams in support of the Foundation. Following the ride, Lance Armstrong will participate in the LINKPINK evening gala dinner hosted by legendary cycling commentator Phil Liggett to share his personal story and answer questions in what is sure to be a special and inspirational event.
