The Ceva L.O.V.E. Bus Rolls Again
American College of Veterinary Behaviorists Co-Sponsors Tour
LENEXA, Kan., May 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Ceva L.O.V.E. bus is touring the country helping pet owners with their pet behavior problems. Ceva Animal Health, makers of Feliway® and Adaptil®, has once again partnered with the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB) for the "Keep the L.O.V.E. Alive Behavior Express Tour 2013" featuring the popular L.O.V.E. coach bus. L.O.V.E. stands for "lean on veterinary expertise," a double entendre to call attention to the human animal bond and reinforce the critical role of veterinarians in addressing pet behavior issues.
"The ACVB is pleased to once again co-sponsor the tour with Ceva to get the word out to the pet-owning public about solving pet behavior problems with the help of their veterinarian. Thousands of pets die needlessly each year due to untreated behavior problems. This campaign calls attention to these alarming statistics and reinforces the critical role of veterinarians in helping pet owners resolve those behavior problems to keep that love alive," said Debra Horwitz, DVM, DACVB, spokesperson for the tour.
The bus is stopping in nine cities and has so far stopped in Baltimore, Chicago, St. Louis and Indianapolis at popular events. At each event, Ceva is distributing pet behavior tips from ACVB and free giveaways from Ceva. Several events feature board-certified veterinary behaviorists available to answer pet owner questions.
