Mr. Sturgeon brings more than 25 years of industry experience to Coastal having most recently served as President and CEO of FreshPoint, Inc., the specialty produce distribution company of Sysco Corporation. Throughout his long tenure with FreshPoint, Mr. Sturgeon managed all aspects of the business including strategy, sales, operations, finance and development for an organization that included 31 distribution companies in the United States and Canada. Under his leadership, FreshPoint grew rapidly, both organically and through the acquisition and subsequent integration of 20 privately held companies.
