New national campaign from the National Constitution Center invites Americans to rediscover, debate, and live up to our founding ideals ahead of America's 250th and beyond
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Constitution Center, America's leading platform for nonpartisan constitutional education, today announced the launch of Our Story Continues, a bold nationwide campaign beginning now until 2037, inviting Americans to explore the principles and ideas that shape our nation and to reflect on how we, the people, will write the next chapter. Over the next decade, as the nation celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026 and the 250th anniversary of the Constitution in 2037, the Center will bring its established and new innovative resources, civil dialogue, and constitutional exploration to communities and households all across the country.
The National Constitution Center serves as a forum where people from across the ideological spectrum can come together to learn, debate, and find common ground. Our Story Continues encourages meaningful exploration of the words that define us, the debates that shape us, and the principles that unite us—advancing a shared understanding of our past and its relevance to the challenges we face today.

Our Story Continues will serve as the framework for a decade of new initiatives, beginning with the debut of two landmark digital resources for America's 250th, launching as the Center kicks off its semiquincentennial celebrations on Constitution Day, September 17:
- The Interactive Declaration of Independence — a dynamic new companion to the Center's acclaimed Interactive Constitution with essays from leading scholars, video and written biographies of the signers, and the full text of the Declaration annotated by Akhil Reed Amar.
- America at 250 Civic Toolkit — a dedicated space on the Center's website with dynamic multimedia content, events, and resources to empower communities, classrooms, and institutions nationwide to celebrate the semiquincentennial, serving as the definitive platform for exploring our nation's founding principles over the next decade and beyond.
