"The Desreta Jackson Show" Launches This Fall, Bridging Mental Health, Healing, and Legacy

APPLE VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Desreta Jackson—best known for her iconic role as young Celie in Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple—is returning to the national spotlight with The Desreta Jackson Show, premiering this fall. Produced by Desicon Pictures, the show aims to spark transformative conversations around mental health, personal healing, and legacy-building during a time when these issues are more urgent than ever.

Jackson is not only an acclaimed actress but also a third-generation natural healer, a certified trichologist, a published author, and a real estate developer. She brings a unique blend of wisdom, life experience, and professional expertise to the screen. Her show will feature authentic and emotionally grounded conversations with real people, subject-matter experts, and public figures.
