The Exodus Ensemble Announces 2025 Immersive Productions Featuring HAMLET and BATHSHEBA

SANTA FE, N.M., Aug. 29, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Exodus Ensemble returns for another electrifying season, following a year of national acclaim – including the New Mexico Entertainment Award for Top Performing Arts Group, the Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts (Innovator Category), and a cover feature in American Theatre Magazine. This fall, the Santa Fe-based company premieres two new adaptations from its repertoire – HAMLET and BATHSHEBA.

HAMLET takes audiences on a haunting descent into the fractured mind of a college student returning home after her father's mysterious death. Set within the Center of Contemporary Arts gallery space, this immersive experience transforms every corner, hallway, and even bathroom stall to immerse 17 audience members into the Shakespeare classic turned psychological thriller.

BATHSHEBA drops audiences into the world of Sun Ranch – an insular community led by the prophet David King – as they witness the selection of Bathsheba, a woman anointed by God to birth the divine child of peace. This page from the bible turned psychological thriller features live music, food and beverage, cameras, security monitors, and projected live feed to immerse 25 audience members into a world of sinister surveillance, control, faith, and rebellion.
