LOS ANGELES, June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NYX Cosmetics, the professional makeup line known for offering a full line of "affordable luxury" makeup products, has announced the top six finalists of the NYX Cosmetics Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards – a YouTube competition to name the Beauty Vlogger of the Year. The FACE Awards spotlights rising stars in the beauty vlogger community and unites them behind a single event.
The six remaining contestants - Charismastar, iwanted2c1video, Sabsbeauty, Beautyliciousinsider, Promuanetwork, and Goldiesterling - have gone through rigorous challenges; showcasing their vivid imagination and makeup skills and capturing the hearts and votes of the public. They will now be flown to Los Angeles to present their final looks during a live runway competition on Sunday, June 24th at the Pasadena Convention Center during IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show). Celebrity Blogger and Renowned Personality, Perez Hilton will act as Emcee.

While public vote advanced these contestants through the first three rounds of competition, a panel of four top industry influencers will judge the final runway event. Toni Ko, founder and Creative Chief Officer of NYX Cosmetics, Scott Barnes, Celebrity Makeup Artist, Nils Johnson, CEO and co-founder of Beautylish, Michael Cain, Director of Education Macadamia Natural Oil, and Tim Lusher, General Manager of Westin Hotels, will determine who is named the Beauty Vlogger of the Year. The contestants will be evaluated for categories such as presentation, artistry, composition, technique, and innovation.
The winner of the contest will take home a cash prize of $25,000, as well as gain access to influential beauty insiders, consult with top industry experts, and receive national publicity. Each of the five runners up will receive a year's worth of NYX Cosmetics.
