The Finalists Are In! The Technology Business Management (TBM) Awards Will Honor IT Leaders For Managing The Business Of IT With Creativity And Ingenuity

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The TBM Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting best practices for managing the business of IT, is excited to announce the finalists of the second-annual TBM Awards. Many IT leaders today are reinventing themselves with a new set of skills to drive technology innovation. Modern IT leaders are focused on delivering better value for their spend, while offering the right services, at the right quality, and the right price. They are driving a dialogue about cost, quality, consumption, and value between the IT department, the finance department, and the business units using language that everyone understands. The TBM Awards were designed to recognize these best-in-class IT leaders.

TBM Award winners will be recognized for the profound impact they've had on their organizations by driving operational excellence, business innovation, business transformation, and the overall TBM vision. The ceremony will be hosted by Martha Heller, president of Heller Search Associates, and attended by all TBM Conference guests at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach on October 28^th.  

Finalists were chosen as a result of nominations submitted by their colleagues and business partners in five previously defined categories. This year's nomination process resulted in close to 40 submissions from Fortune 2000 companies, more than doubling last year's entrants. After an extensive evaluation process, the following finalists were chosen based on their contributions to advancing the practice of TBM.
