The Firmament Group Promotes Three Investment Professionals

NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Firmament Group ("Firmament"), a leading provider of tailored debt and equity capital solutions to small- and medium-sized enterprises, announced today the promotion of three key team members - Brian Peters, Peter Strome and Green Campbell - within the firm.

Brian Peters, who joined Firmament as an Associate in May of 2017, has been promoted to Vice President. Mr. Peters has played a key role in Firmament's investments in Condata Global, Zebra Environmental & Industrial Services and Destination Pet, among others. Prior to joining Firmament, Mr. Peters focused on transportation, logistics and infrastructure at Stifel Nicolaus and Fortress Investment Group.  Mr. Peters holds a B.A. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated in 2012 with honors, and served as the captain of the varsity football team.

Peter Strome, who joined Firmament as an Associate in August of 2016, has been promoted to Senior Associate. Mr. Strome has played an important role in Firmament's investments in Denali Water Solutions, Vision Integrated Partners and The Legacy Companies, and has also significantly contributed to the firm's portfolio monitoring and capital formation functions.  Prior to joining Firmament, Mr. Strome worked in the Diversified Industrials group at Stifel Nicolaus, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and other strategic advisory initiatives for middle market companies.  Mr. Strome holds a B.A. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated in 2013 with honors.

Green Campbell, who joined Firmament as an Analyst in November of 2017, has been promoted to Associate. Mr. Campbell has played an important role in Firmament's investments in Wastewater Specialties and GTG Technology Group, among others.  Prior to joining Firmament, Mr. Campbell served as Vice President of Southern ICEE Distributors, a regional beverage distribution and service provider in the Southeastern U.S.  After leading the sale of the company, Mr. Campbell worked as Head of Transition for the buyer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of J&J Snack Foods.  Mr. Campbell received his B.A. from Yale University in 2015, where he majored in economics and played varsity baseball.  Mr. Campbell also studied economic policy at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
