The First "Virtuosos of the Opa Exhibition" at New York's Prestigious Salmagundi Club

NEW YORK, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Oil Painters of America (OPA) will hold its first "Virtuosos of the OPA Exhibition," September 17 through October 1, 2015, at the famous Salmagundi Club, one of New York City's oldest and most valued historic art institutions.
Art enthusiasts will find a number of recognizable names in this nationally and internationally acclaimed group of oil painters, all of whom have achieved OPA's Master Signature or Signature designation; a distinction only awarded to the very best artists who have gone through a rigorous vetting process.

Tim Newton, Chairman of the Board for the Salmagundi Club, will serve as the Juror of Awards at the opening reception and award ceremony on Thursday, September 17, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The public and press are invited to attend the reception; however, cocktail attire is required.
Of special note, New York's own Everett Raymond Kinstler OPAM will give a rare interview about his prolific life and work on Friday, September 18th at 7:30 p.m. at the Salmagundi Club. For over sixty years, Mr. Kinstler has portrayed a virtual cultural history of this country and has had presidents, authors, entertainers and several business leaders pose for him. The exhibition will be on view from September 17 through October 1, 2015. All pieces will be for sale.
