The French Culinary Institute of California Announces Special New York Opportunity for Students Enrolled in May 2011 Classic Culinary Arts Classes

CAMPBELL, Calif., April 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The French Culinary Institute of California (The FCI), located at The International Culinary Center, today announced students who enroll and complete the Classic Culinary Arts Program at the California campus beginning May 2 (evening) or May 17 (daytime) will receive an all-expense paid trip to New York City, one of the most exciting culinary destinations in the world, and the founding location of The French Culinary Institute.

Following graduation these students—along with their classmates—will be whisked off to New York City for four days and three nights of culinary adventures, which will give them the opportunity to connect to the place where The FCI story began more than 25 years ago, and its tradition of excellence was established.  They will partake in a number of experiences only The FCI can provide including an exclusive chef demonstration at The FCI's NYC Culinary Amphitheater, dinner at L'Ecole, the restaurant of The French Culinary Institute, tours of New York studios and kitchens that are changing the culinary landscape, a meeting with and dinner at the restaurant of an FCI alumni, and visits to favorite FCI food stops including Manhattan's Chinatown, Chelsea Market, and the Union Square Greenmarket.
