NEW YORK, Oct. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Galien Foundation, the premier global institution dedicated to honoring innovators in life sciences, today announced the nominees for the 2025 "Prix Galien EcoHealth Award". This new award recognizes groundbreaking advances in climate technology and environmental health solutions. Winners will be announced on October 29, 2025, at the United Nations in New York City.

Judges have evaluated submissions based on seven key criteria alongside an 800-word entry and supporting documents:
- Innovation Background: Details on the company/innovation, its origins, philosophy, and sector focus (e.g., renewable energy, water conservation, net-zero impact).
- Alignment with Global Goals: Explanation of how the innovation addresses climate health needs and aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
- Benchmarking Success: Demonstration of success through scientific rigor, partnerships, and progress toward net-zero targets.
- Expertise and Collaboration: Highlight staff and advisors' expertise, including academic contributions and science-to-science exchanges.
- Financial Structure: Outline of equity, royalties, or strategic partnerships with academic institutions, equity groups, and corporate alliances.
- Third-Party References: Letters of support from external organizations engaging as pilots or policy partners.
