The Great American Trucking Show returns with new events and experiences for the entire trucking industry.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. and DALLAS, July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- After seeing unprecedented success in 2014, The Great American Trucking Show, Randall-Reilly's award-winning trade show, is returning to the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas, TX with a host of new experiences.
"This year we really wanted to make sure that all of our efforts were focused around building an extraordinary experience for all attendees of the Great American Trucking Show," said Stacy McCants, Randall-Reilly's vice president of Events. "We want to give our attendees the opportunity not only to see new products, but to connect with each other by creating a stronger community around the show, including a focus on health, a more interactive educational experience, and a vastly improved truck parking experience."
The GATS Theater, a new addition to the show floor, will host a number of events including Partners In Business, Market Movers, an open forum event for fleet executives, and the Pride & Polish National Championship awards ceremony.
Also featured for the first time at the show is Landstar's Fit for the Road Health and Wellness Pavilion, which provides drivers with the health assessments, services, and products they may have trouble finding on the road. This area includes free services for drivers, including pre-DOT physicals, diabetes education, medical consultations, nutrition evaluations, and a mammogram bus with financial assistance for those without health insurance.
With a new focus on drivers, GATS 2015 has added new events in the truck parking to better enhance the overall driver experience and community.The free truck parking, located at Fair Park, includes a shower trailer provided by TA and Petro Stopping Centers, live entertainment, product demos, free food, and a 5K run/walk for charity.
Additionally, the show announced today they will be featuring a free concert for all GATS attendees by country music legend John Anderson. The concert will be held in Ballroom C of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28. Tickets to the concert will be available on the show floor at the Trucker Path and Professional Driver Agency booths.
The Great American Trucking Show was recognized by Trade Show News Network's Top 250 Trade Shows. The show was also recognized as one of Trade Show Executive's Fastest 50, a list of the 50 fastest growing trade shows.
