
The Growth Strategy Co. announces the 2013 Growth Strategy Student Competition winners and finalists.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Growth Strategy Company, the leading provider of cloud-based enterprise software, research and consulting services dedicated to business growth, announced today the 2013 Growth Strategy Student Competition winners and finalists. Using a real-world case study, the first annual competition challenged students from across the globe to generate innovative ideas on how Globe Dye Works, an iconic Philadelphia-based manufacturing company, could have prevented decline and failure.
The competition was open to all undergraduate and graduate university students with a valid school ID, and ran from September 25 to October 20. The competition received an overwhelming number of submissions from all over the globe. The competition was judged based on the most innovative application of the six key perspective of the Growth Strategy Grid. The grand prize winner will be awarded $1,000 with second and third place receiving $750 and $500 respectively:

The competition's case study focused on Globe Dye Works, a Philadelphia based manufacturer of chemical dyes that closed its doors in 2005 after 140 years of operations.
