THE GUNDAM BASE CHICAGO: First U.S. Location Coming to Chicago Winter 2025

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bandai Namco Amusement America ("BNAA") will launch "THE GUNDAM BASE CHICAGO" in winter 2025 at Fashion Outlets of Chicago, near Chicago, Illinois. This location will mark the debut of "THE GUNDAM BASE," the official GUNPLA store operated by BNAA under license from Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America ("BNTCA").

The GUNPLA specialty store has been introduced to the U.S. market by BNTCA through mobile tours and pop-up events. Now, for the first time, BNAA will establish a permanent location with the official THE GUNDAM BASE. Launching under the tagline "Fun to build GUNPLA," the store will carry exclusive products only available at THE GUNDAM BASE and cater to both new and longtime fans by offering an engaging experience built around four key themes: watch, buy, build, and learn. By showcasing the joy of building and playing with GUNPLA, the store is designed to be an exciting destination for everyone.

About Mobile Suit GUNDAM  SERIES
A series of mecha anime that started from "Mobile Suit Gundam" broadcasted in Japan from 1979. Depicting complicated themes which were unseen in any mecha anime of its time.
