Companies generating a revenue of at least $100 million were evaluated based on revenue growth, employee satisfaction and sustainability transparency. The worldwide surveys collected data from approximately 200,000 participants. Sustainability was evaluated based on environmental, social and governance practices and associated data. Evaluations of employers were collected from verified employees as well as direct and indirect recommendations.

Forbes' list of America's Best Insurance Companies recognized 112 insurance companies out of over 3,000 in the United States and was produced in partnership with market research firm Statista. This list was derived by surveying more than 18,000 people across the United States who reported having an insurance policy within the last three years. Survey respondents were asked how satisfied they were with their insurer, how loyal they felt toward the company and how likely they were to recommend it to others. Participants were also asked to rate their insurance providers on the advice agents offered, customer service, cost, company transparency, digital services and damage services.
