The Hoffman Agency Expands to the Northwest

PORTLAND, Ore., May 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hoffman Agency, a global communications consultancy based in San Jose, Calif., today announced that it has expanded operations to the Pacific Northwest. Nautilus, Inc., a leader in innovative home fitness equipment based in Vancouver, Wash., selected the agency to support an integrated PR and marketing communications program.

The Hoffman Agency has hired two public relations professionals with vast consumer and technology brand experience—Vice President Kymra Knuth and Account Manager Kali Bean—to lead and grow business for the agency in the Northwest.

Knuth, with more than 18 years of experience, is a trusted advisor and is responsible for building and maintaining strong client, partner and media relationships. Prior to joining Hoffman, she was a senior executive for two global PR firms, Edelman and Waggener Edstrom. She has worked with some of the world's largest brands and managed global consumer and technology accounts, including Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Columbia Sportswear and InFocus.

Bean has proven experience in technology and consumer public relations, driving award-winning programs for companies. Prior to Hoffman, she was an account supervisor at Edelman. Bean's work has earned her teams two PRSA Spotlight awards for media relations and integrated communications and a SoMe award for creative blogger outreach. In 2008, she was recognized as one of PRSource Code's Top Tech Communicators.
