The Home Depot Selects Metalogix to Migrate Enterprise Content to Microsoft Online (BPOS)

WALTHAM, Mass., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Metalogix Software, a leading provider of solutions for Microsoft's Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS); SharePoint migration, management, archiving, and recovery solutions; and email archiving solutions for Microsoft Exchange®, today announced that The Home Depot® has selected Metalogix SharePoint Migration Manager for eRoom to help them move content to Microsoft Online.

In making this business-critical transition, the world's largest home improvement retailer was seeking a tool that would allow it to complete the process as smoothly and quickly as possible, minimizing the impact on employees.  

Metalogix SharePoint Migration Manager for eRoom simplifies the process of migrating eRoom content to SharePoint on premise or to SharePoint online. Metalogix's migration tool allows customers to complete operations from any client machine without needing to run any components on the eRoom server. In addition, eRoom administrators can move objects at the item level, room level, or facility level and reorganize content in SharePoint during migration operations. SharePoint Migration Manager for eRoom preserves metadata for all items as content is migrated.

SharePoint Migration Manager for eRoom converts all eRoom version histories to SharePoint version histories for migrated content and maps eRoom users and permissions to SharePoint with either default or customized mappings.
