Dr. Morgan's academic journey began with an ASN in licensed vocational nursing from Concord College in Fort Worth, followed by a BSN from Texas Tech University. She went on to earn both her MSN and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University. She is certified in wound and ostomy care and is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Beyond her professional practice, Dr. Morgan actively gives back to her community. She hosts free vaccine clinics throughout the Bexar County area and serves on the Board of Directors for STEAM Academy, a charter school in San Antonio committed to educational advancement in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
