The Inner Circle acknowledges, Jessica M. Klersy as a Pinnacle Professional Member Inner Circle of Excellence
RIVERHEAD, N.Y., March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Jessica M. Klersy is acknowledged as a Pinnacle Professional Member Inner Circle of Excellence for her contributions to Championing Advocacy for Individuals with Special Needs and the Elderly.
Jessica M. Klersy, founder and managing partner of Klersy Law, P.C., has dedicated her legal career to advocating for individuals with special needs and the elderly. Her passion for this field stems from personal experience—after losing her hearing at the age of seventeen, she faced significant discrimination and institutional resistance in obtaining the accommodations to which she was entitled. Though she successfully advocated for herself, she witnessed family members with significant disabilities struggle without a voice. Determined to change this, Jessica pursued a legal career to become the advocate that so many need.
Jessica earned her Juris Doctorate from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in May 2017 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in June of the same year, having passed the Bar exam during her final semester of law school. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Therapeutic Recreation from St. Joseph's College. She is certified to serve on the Part 36 list, allowing her to be appointed by the New York State Supreme Court as a Court Evaluator, Attorney for the Alleged Incapacitated Person (AIP), or guardian.
With nine years in the legal field, Jessica began her career at Touro Law Center's Elder Law Clinic, where she advocated for the elderly. Now, as the managing partner of Klersy Law, P.C., she provides crucial legal services in estate planning and elder law, ensuring that families and individuals with special needs receive the protections they deserve. Her dedication to the field has earned her numerous accolades, including the Honorable Joel K. Asarch Elder Law and Special Needs Section Scholarship from the New York State Bar Association. She was also one of only four students at Touro Law Center to participate in the 2017 Pro Bono Scholar Program, which allowed her to take and pass the Bar exam before graduation.
Jessica is currently working on publishing a book, set to be released in early 2025, which will provide valuable insights into estate planning and legal advocacy for vulnerable populations.
Beyond her legal work, Jessica enjoys creating personalized gifts for friends and family using her Cricut machine, crafting tumblers, t-shirts, and other custom items for weddings, baby showers, and housewarming gifts. She cherishes time spent with her two little nephews, whom she adores.
Looking ahead, Jessica plans to continue expanding Klersy Law, P.C., while remaining committed to providing high-quality legal services and compassionate advocacy for individuals with special needs and the elderly. She believes that legal guidance should be accessible and thorough, empowering clients to make informed decisions to protect their families, assets, and legacies.
