The Invisible Weapon Documentary Screening at the National Press Club

Investigative film on alleged chemical weapons use in Sudan to be followed by an expert panel and audience discussion

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Journalist and documentary filmmaker Youssef Jajili will present a screening of The Invisible Weapon on Thursday, September 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

The 26-minute investigative documentary examines evidence related to the alleged use of chemical weapons in Sudan. Drawing on firsthand testimony from affected civilians, expert analysis, open-source research and documented supply-chain information, the film explores the reported attacks and their consequences for civilian populations.

The screening will be followed by a moderated panel discussion and audience Q&A. Confirmed panelists include Abdullahi Boru, a Kenyan specialist in refugee and displacement issues with Refugees International, and Abby Schneiderhan of C4ADS, whose expertise includes illicit supply chains and investigations related to chemical shipments connected to Sudan.

The program is intended for journalists, policymakers, diplomatic representatives, humanitarian specialists and members of the Washington policy community.
