
The Luma Center Announces Speech Language Pathologist for New Program Starting in January
Intensive Program Focuses on Apraxia and Speech & Language Disorders in 4-to-5-Year Olds
PAOLI, Pa., Dec. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Luma Center™ for Development and Learning in Malvern (www.lumacenter.org) today announced Jolynn Thomas, MS Ed CCC-SLP, as the new Speech and Language Pathologist for its new school-year program, Speech and Language Explorers.
The Speech and Language Explorers program, which provides support for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and other speech and language disorders in a brand new therapy center, is now accepting enrollments for January and the 2012-2013 school year. Thomas brings 16 years of working with children and adults with a variety of speech and language impairments to the program, which provides a rich, language-based curriculum to 4-5 year-olds with speech and language-based learning challenges in a small group environment.

Thomas has a Master of Science in Education from the College of Saint Rose in Albany NY and a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia. She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence and a Pennsylvania State License in Speech Language Pathology.
