The Lustgarten Foundation And Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Join Forces For 'Unite To Fight Pancreatic Cancer', A First Of Its Kind Walk Event In Boston

BOSTON, Mass., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lustgarten Foundation and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network are proud to announce that they will join forces and efforts for Unite to Fight Pancreatic Cancer, a special walk event scheduled to take place in Boston at DCR's Mother's Rest Park on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

This is a first of its kind event, bringing together the two leading organizations in the fight against pancreatic cancer. By joining forces for the event, the two organizations hope to create more awareness and raise more funds in the fight against this deadly disease. Registration for the Unite to Fight Pancreatic Cancer walk is now open.

"Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death in the United States and is estimated to become the second leading cause of death by the year 2020, possibly as early as 2015.
