The McGraw-Hill Companies Appoints Keith Fox President of McGraw-Hill Construction
NEW YORK, March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) today announced the appointment of Keith Fox as president of McGraw-Hill Construction, the leading provider of design and construction information and intelligence in North America. Mr. Fox, 45, most recently was president of BusinessWeek.
"Keith brings strong leadership and operational experience to this role, as well as a proven track record in innovation and product development," said Harold McGraw III, chairman, president and chief executive officer of The McGraw-Hill Companies.

Mr. Fox served as president of BusinessWeek from 2007 until its sale in December 2009. Under his leadership, BusinessWeek expanded the global audience and accelerated its digital transformation. With the launch of the Business Exchange, BusinessWeek successfully entered social networking media and was awarded Best Digital Launch by MIN. Prior to leading BusinessWeek, Mr. Fox was president of McGraw-Hill Professional, where he helped substantially improve performance through the successful launch of several new products and the creation of new digital businesses.
Mr. Fox joined the Corporation in 2000 as senior vice president of Marketing and Business Development for BusinessWeek. Prior to joining The McGraw-Hill Companies, Mr. Fox was vice president of new media at the Reader's Digest Association, where he launched gifts.com and readersdigest.com. He has held positions at Unilever and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Mr. Fox holds a bachelor's degree in history from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
