The MED Group Announces New Agreement with CareCentrix Effective May 1, 2013

LUBBOCK, Texas, May 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The MED Group, a Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA) Company, today announced a new agreement with home health benefits manager, CareCentrix, effective May 1, 2013, for a period of three years.

CareCentrix is the leading provider of home health benefits management services to the health care industry, and has earned a reputation for excellence in supporting health care plans and providers by meeting the home health needs of their patients for more than 15 years.  CareCentrix partners with health plans, local home health agencies, and home medical equipment companies to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely home health services. Through this new contract MED Group members can provide home health services to CareCentrix managed patients at pre-negotiated rates for home medical equipment and services.  This partnership enables CareCentrix to expand their network of high quality providers through MED Group members.
