Leading Foodservice Equipment Distributor Announces Deal to Acquire Luxury Outdoor Kitchen and Grill Company
DOWNEY, Calif., Dec. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Middleby Corporation (Middleby) announced today that it has acquired the privately held Lynx Grills, Inc. (Lynx) from Century Park Capital Partners, LLC. Lynx Grills has been owned by Century Park Capital Partners, LLC since 2006. William Blair & Company, L.L.C. served as financial advisor to the Company in this transaction.
Since its launch in 1996, Lynx Grills, headquartered in Downey, CA, has set the standard for design, innovation and engineering excellence in luxury grills and custom outdoor kitchen products, launching the revolutionary SmartGrill, the world's first Wi-Fi enabled, voice-activated grill, to wide acclaim in 2015. Lynx's signature product offerings include the Professional Series of built-in and free-standing grills and the Sedona by Lynx line, introduced in 2013. The Sedona by Lynx line has a variety of complete island styles to match any backyard. Additional products within the Lynx Professional Series include the recently launched Napoli Pizza Oven and the flat cook top Asado Grill.
