The National Parkinson Foundation Welcomes Two New Board Members

MIAMI, Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) announced the election of two new members this month to its Board of Directors: Mindy McIlroy and Alberto Dosal.

Mindy McIlroy was elected to the board in October 2014. She is Terranova's Executive Vice President, and oversees leasing, marketing and new business development for the company's diverse retail portfolio, and has led the company's strategy through its foray into mixed-use and High Street retail. With a track record of nearly half a billion dollars in retail leasing deals, McIlroy's expertise spans a wide gamut of retail properties, from suburban shopping centers to lifestyle entertainment centers to urban retail and  mixed-use projects. Originally from upstate New York, McIlroy is now an entrenched Miami resident whose industry knowledge and experience services various community organizations. Alberto Dosal was elected to the board in October 2014. As the Chairman and CEO of Dosal Capital and all of its operating companies, Dosal is currently chairman of Compuquip Technologies, one of the oldest and largest family-owned and -operated IT businesses in South Florida. He founded the company in 1980 to provide technology equipment leasing services to local financial services firms and has since evolved and expanded the firm to its current focus on enterprise security products and services. He also serves as chairman of two companies that originated through his foresight and inspiration: Blue Wave Communications, a voice- and data-cabling company he founded in 2004; and BrightGauge Software, a web-based platform serving the needs of managed IT services providers (MSPs), which his sons launched in 2010. In addition, he leverages his financial acumen and banking industry experience to serve on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Miami Branch. Active in the local community, Dosal was the 2013-2014 Chairman of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
