The Oregonian Names LegitScript One Of Oregon's Top Workplaces

PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LegitScript, a business that focuses on cybercrime, healthcare, and regulatory compliance, has been awarded a 2016 Top Workplaces honor by The Oregonian. The award is based on employee feedback, and measures factors such as employee happiness, job satisfaction, and how employees feel about the company's mission.

LegitScript's mission is to make the internet a safer, more transparent place. To that end, the company monitors websites and merchants that sell regulated or illegal products, such as prescription drugs, designer drugs, tobacco, and gambling, and helps its customers determine which are operating legally and which are not in compliance with the customer's policies and may be unsafe or illegal. LegitScript clients include Google, Visa, Bing, Facebook, the US Food and Drug Administration, and the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
