The OurPet's Company Appoints New Vice President of Sales/New Business Development
FAIRPORT HARBOR, Ohio, Jan. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The OurPet's Company (OPCO www.ourpets.com), a leading proprietary pet supply company, today announced that Kathleen Peters-Homyock has been named Vice President of Sales/New Business Development. Her appointment is effective January 5, and she will report directly to Dr. Steven Tsengas, Chairman and CEO.
Peters-Homyock joined The OurPet's Company in August 2013 and served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and New Business Development. She received her BBA in Marketing from Baldwin Wallace College and her MBA in Finance from Cleveland State University. Kathleen has more than thirty years of diversified senior management experience in sales and marketing, primarily in consumer goods and services.
As part of the sales team restructuring effort, Richard Volpe has been named National Sales Director. Volpe joined The OurPet's Company in 2013 as National Account Sales Manager for the Western United States. In his new role, he will be responsible for an expanded list of key accounts and for closely developing national sales strategies along with Peters-Homyock. Prior to joining The OurPet's Company, Volpe gained 18 years of industry experience at United Pet Group and Central Garden & Pet, where he directed key account managers and cross-functional teams across four channels of trade.
The OurPet's Company's previous Vice President of Global Sales, Tim Viancourt, has accepted another position within the pet industry and will be leaving the Company after January 16, 2015. Viancourt has been with The OurPet's Company since 2011.
